Santa Ana, California, Feb. 28, 2012 - WebMux Provides Complete IPV6 Solutions.
CAI Networks releases a new firmware 9.0.00 that provides complete IPV6 solutions to the next generation IP protocol.
WebMux has been providing IPV6 load balancing since 2006 in accordance with White House requirements.
With the v9.0.00 firmware, it adds the additional IPv6 load balancing functions and features that have
evolved in time with IPv6. The WebMux load balancers now support load balancing IPv6 traffic in Network
Address Translation (NAT) mode, Transparent mode, Single Network mode, and Out-of-Path (OOP) mode as well as
IPv6 Layer 7 (L7) load directing and IPv6 traffic SSL terminations.
The sophisticated IPV6 load balancing offered by Webmux not only functions flawlessly in pure IPV6 traffic,
but also performs well in IPV4 and IPV6 mixed environment. In addition, WebMux can handle IPV6 internet
traffic translation into IPV4 only servers. All the new IPV6 features and their performance have been
tested in the real customer sites while exceeding USGv6 and Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) requirements.
The WebMux is a full feature load balancer and application delivery controller with IPV6 support and one
of the first such devices in the industry. Since its initial development in 1997, WebMux has undergone
tremendous enhancements in functionality and performance meeting the load balancing needs of their customers.
WebMux load balancers are widely used by government agencies, military operators,
businesses, universities, and other services throughout the world. WebMux load balancers are certified by
both Microsoft® and Oracle®. WebMux load balancers are offered by many internet service
providers (ISP) as a hosting option and sold
through resellers worldwide.
