This page provide simple instruction about howto configure Linksys SRW2016 managed switch with tagged VLAN. The switch can be used for port based VLAN or tag based VLAN.

1. Log in as "admin":

2. Click on "VLAN Management" and it should bring you to the "Create VLAN" screen:

3. In the "Create VLAN" screen enter the VLAN ID number you want to use. Then enter a VLAN Name. Then click the "Add" button. You will see a new entry in the VLAN Table. Click "Save Settings":

4. Click on "Port Setting" on the top menu

In the rows for the ports you want to include in the VLAN, select "General" under the Mode column, "Admit Tag Only" in the Acceptable Frame Type column, and enter the VLAN ID number in the PVID column. Click on the "Save Settings".

5. Under VLAN Management, click on "Port to VLAN":

In the VLAN drop box, select the VLAN ID you want to configure. In the port diagram, select "Tagged" under the ports you specified in step 4. Click "Save Settings". The Linksys switch is now configured to use tag based VLAN for the specified ports.
